NFBC members only ride. Non-members may test 3 NFBC rides before joining. You must sign the ride waiver to participate in the ride and to earn club points and mileage. There will be a Safety Briefing Meeting 10 minutes before the start of the ride. Please arrive at the starting point early enough to get set up before the pre-ride meeting. Helmets required on all NFBC rides.
This ride is for a variety of levels with multiple ride leaders and with no rider left behind. The ride starts at Main Beach and travels through the north beaches of Amelia Island, Fort Clinch State Park and Fernandina Beach. Optional lunch afterwards at a restaurant on the Atlantic coast. Ride Leader Don Eipert 904-261-5160. 
 
In the interest of promoting that we are cycling friendly on Amelia Island, for first time riders and shorter distance riders, a ride leader will escort a rider back to the start after Fort Clinch which is near the starting point anyway.
 
All riders entering Fort Clinch must be signed in at the start on the NFBC ride sheets or they will not be part of the ride and will be required by the Fort Clinch staff to pay $2 or show their own pass.   Also, Fort Clinch has a zero tolerance for stop sign violators and cyclists not riding single file to avoid oncoming traffic.
