About this event

Every year we usher in the New Year with the NFBC all-time club favorite, the YOYO ride on January 1.

Note time change: The Century will start at 8:30, the 55 and 30 miles routes at 10:00 (to allow it to be warmer)

While Amy and Mark are the main Ride Leaders we do need to people to help lead the various pace and distance groups.  If you can help please Sign up Here

The 55 & 102 miles routes are available for levels A & B.  The 30-mile route (up and down the rail trail) is open to all riders.
The 55 miles travels along with the longer routes but heads back at MacClenny via 90 & the rail trail. At MacClenny the 102-mile route heads north to the southernmost crossing into Georgia.

Then 102-mile route will take you along some of the nicest and less traveled roads in the beautiful southernmost part of Georgia.

2022 New Year YOYO ride
The picture above is the 100-mile riders at the State Line Store near the FL-GA boarder on 1-1-2022. We take the same picture every year.

1-2021 YOYO ride
This is in 2021, it was quite warm.

1-2016 YOYO ride
Here we are five years earlier on 1-1-2016. It was a semi-warm day.

1-2020 YOYO Ride
This picture is the 1-1-2020 start of the YOYO ride.  It was a cold day that year, but we still had plenty of riders.

By the way, this ride is called the YOYO ride because on New Year's Day we are never sure which stores will be open and there is no sag wagon. You're On Your Own.  So, bring enough food and drink to sustain you through the ride.

Of course, there is water along the rail trail and the Wal-Mart that we pass in MacClenny is always open.

THIS RIDE COUNTS FOR CLUB MILEAGE. (Start off your year with 102 miles!)
