Being a member of the NFBC Travel Team is easy and open to all NFBC members.
1) Register for the ride.
2) Wear an NFBC or major event jersey during the event.
3) Sign the NFBC Travel Team ride sheet and follow all NFBC ride rules.

Join the NFBC Travel Team for the 37th Annual Covington Century. Take Friday off and drive up to COVINGTON, GA, for the Saturday, July 27 ride. It is located just north of Macon and southeast Atlanta (about 5 hours/440 miles from downtown Jacksonville).

Rolling hills through the countryside. Awesome route, wonderful rest stops, T-shirt and delicious BBQ. It is the perfect cure for the summertime blues.

Schedule: 

  • 6:30am:   Ride day registration & packet pick-up
  • 7:30am:   Mass Start
  • 8:00am:   32-miler Start
  • 11:00am: Lunch starts (provided by Bradely's Barbecue) 
  • 4:00pm:   Lunch ends

The Routes: 

  • Century: 100 miles with 4,775 feet of climbing & descending.
  • Metric Century: 67 miles with 2,979 feet of climbing & descending.
  • Half Metric: 32 miles
