This is part of the Gainesville Cycling Festival. The Santa Fe Ride on Saturday and the Horse Farm Ride on Sunday. Both are NFBC Travel Team and count for club mileage.
A tour through the lush forest and pasture land north of Gainesville up through the Santa Fe River valley. The ride begins with a trip through the historic town of Alachua, with a stop soon after for refreshments. The Century traverses the scenic tree-lined Feagle roads in Columbia County, and then crosses Union County on its way to Worthington Springs. The final pit stop is at a roadside park once frequented by Ponce deLeon.
The rides start at 8:30 AM from the Northwest Boys & Girls Club at 2700 NW 51st Street in Gainesville. Enjoy a 100, 64, 55, or 33 mile road ride with well stocked rest stops. There is also a 65-mile gravel route and an 18-mile Family Fun Ride.
