This is not a cub ride meaning club insurance does not apply nor are club rules required. However our rules are common sense for most rides and we recommend they be followed
Cancellation Policy:
No Refunds, No Rain Dates.
Sorry, but there is no rain date and we cannot offer refunds. The event takes place, rain or shine. If for some reason you cannot attend the ride after registering, you can have someone pick up your T-shirt for you at the ride or you can pick it up at the next scheduled NFBC club meeting. Otherwise, it becomes the property of the club.
About this event
Tuesday, October 29th, the Palencia Pickleball players are hosting a Charity Bike Ride to aid the victims of the two hurricanes. We are fortunate that here we dodged the devastating carnage that hurricane Helene heaped on the other parts of Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee. Let’s help!
The ride will take place in Amelia Island. It will begin at 10:00 am at Baxter’s, continue on for fifteen miles to Billy Jax’s where the group will have lunch and then return to Baxter’s. The entire ride is on a flat bike path. Ira Baron will lead the slow ride that has beautiful views and opportunities to stop along the way. No one will be dropped. Once everyone returns, we will head back to Palencia and have an event round up at Salsa’s at 5:00 pm.
If you get to Billy Jax’s and cannot make the return trip, transportation back to Baxter’s will be provided.
In lieu of an entry fee we ask that you donate: Non-perishable foods, hygiene products, new socks and underwear (children and adult), gently worn clothes, and water flavor powders.
