We will ride 20-30 miles at a C/S pace with several rest and photo stops. A NO DROP C/Social pace ride with attention to cyclists who want to learn to ride with groups. Join us as we bike from the Great Dunes Pavilion located at the "Great Dunes Park" which is located approximately one quarter mile North of the Jekyll Island Convention Center. Please check the NFBC Calendar/Forum (Announcements) for ANY weather changes to the ride start time or cancelations prior to leaving for the ride. I WILL cancel the ride on Thursday evening if the weather could impact the ride. We will have lunch locally post ride. The "Jekyll Market" has various food vendors inside including: "Love Shack BBQ", "Boardwalk Deli", "Big Kahuna's Burrito Bar", "Long Neck Beer/Wine", "A Sweet Shop Named Sprinkles". THIS RIDE COUNTS FOR CLUB POINTS AND MILEAGE. A = 18-21 MPH / B = 14-17 MPH / C = up to 14 MPH S = Social Ride. The emphasis is on the social aspect of the club, they are no-drop rides and the pace will be determined by the group at the start of the ride.
