We are doing something special for the Tuesday, October 25 NFBC Members’ meeting. We are meeting at the locally owned Tabula Rasa Brewery, visiting and learning about the Honey Pot Bicycle Collective, and ordering dinner from a nearby Taco restaurant. (See below for all food options)
The food truck doubled-booked and canceled over the weekend, so here are the other options for dinner:
Option 1: Nacho Taco is a family-owned restaurant serving fresh Mex and Tex food including vegan options. It is located one mile from Tabula Rasa. Check the menu. Phone Nacho Taco between 10:30 am to 5:15 pm on the day of the meeting (Tuesday, Oct 25) to place and pay for your order. The NFBC will pick up your order at 6:15 and bring it to Tabula Rasa.

Option 2: Place your order via Grubhub or Doordash from any restaurant and have it delivered to Tabula Rasa
Option 3: Pick up food from any restaurant on your way to Tabula Rasa
The Tabula Rasa Brewery provides full-flavored ale with ample green space to enjoy the evening. On the other side of the green space is the Honey Pot Bicycle Collective where volunteers refurbish donated and discarded bikes which are passed on to Jacksonville's underprivileged and underserved.
After our usual club announcements and updates, Garf Cooper will give a brief talk about the Honey Pot’s mission to provide bicycle transportation to those in need within Jacksonville. Then in small groups, we will go visit the bicycle shop where you can see what they are doing and maybe turn some wrenches.
Bicycle part donations are greatly appreciated. Current needs include handlebars, seats, tubes, and gear. You may also want to donate your time to refurbish some bikes.
